Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer helps customers understand and choose ThreatFabric’s products and services by explaining their technical details and benefits. You connect the technical aspects of our products with customers’ needs and help ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.

You’ll be part of the Sales team and work closely with colleagues across the business to support sales activities and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Sell the value of ThreatFabric’s threat intelligence, device intelligence and behavioural analytics solutions to new customers through interactive sessions, demos, POCs and more.
• Lead technical product discussions with new customers.
• Lead integration projects with new customers, supported by a Project Manager and Product specialists.
• Maintain strong professional relationships with existing clients and meet new clients to expand sales territories.
• Help shape new product features by sharing the voice of the customer internally.
• Attend conferences, lectures, seminars and workshops to develop your skills and knowledge.
• Complete all obligatory training and instruction related to ThreatFabric products and services.
• Share valuable customer information within the Sales team and with relevant departments, including Marketing, Customer Success and Development.
• Write reports and liaise with the production team about issues, foreseeable problems and effective solutions.
• Ensure reports are clear, understandable and include actionable recommendations for improving products and services.

Technical skills

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in Sales Engineering in a similar organization and industry.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Commercial and result-driven

• You listen to customers’ needs and advise them on the best products to buy.
• You demonstrate strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• You work towards a customer satisfaction score of 8+.

Communication and ways of working

• You recognize opportunities for additional sales and know how to act on them.
• You support negotiations for sales and upsell opportunities.
• You work independently, take initiative and organize and prioritize your own work.

Information Security, Business Continuity & Privacy

• You have a positive and active attitude towards information security, business continuity and privacy.
• You act as a role model and follow all applicable policies regarding information security, privacy and business continuity.

• A 12-month employment contract with the intention to extend. Subject to mutual satisfaction, this may lead to a permanent position.
• An annual salary between €90,000 and €110,000, including 8% holiday allowance.
