The Position: Fraud Analyst
Position: Full-time | 40 hours per week
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands | Work From Home (2–3 days per week in the office)
Level: 2–4 years of relevant experience
Salary Range: 55K – 75K
As a Fraud Analyst, you’ll detect and investigate fraud patterns and trends and work closely with Threat Analysts and Product teams to enhance fraud detection. You will also keep stakeholders informed on the evolving fraud landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
- Fraud Detection: Detect suspicious activities and identify fraud patterns like account takeover, phishing, etc.
- Investigation: Perform assessments of fraudulent cases and create detection rules.
- Collaboration:
- Support in-depth investigations, suggest new fraud detection approaches, and work with R&D to improve detection algorithms.
- Act as the primary point of contact between Fraud, R&D, and Product for detection-related topics.
- Act as a primary point of contact between internal teams and customers’ Fraud teams, supporting investigations, explaining detections, and aligning on fraud prevention strategies.
- Mentor junior analysts, ensuring consistency and quality through reviews of investigations, detection logic, and written outputs.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Provide insights on fraud incidents, trends, and countermeasures. Work with data scientists to optimize machine learning models for fraud prevention.
- Monitoring: Regularly monitor the performance of detection approaches and stay updated on emerging fraud tactics.
